Located 20 minutes from Central Auckland in the western suburb of Henderson, Radius Arran Court integrates rest home, hospital, dementia and respite care in a homely, yet stimulating environment.
Arran Court has a newly refurbished secure wing for specialised dementia care. The rooms are state of the art and there are several internal courtyards with secure access for peace of mind.
Our rooms are comfortable and warm, with plenty of natural lighting. Each of our wings feature a spacious lounge area where residents can socialise over arts and crafts, indoor bowls and bingo. Exterior doors from the facility lead onto a deck or courtyard, making the outdoor areas easily accessible for our residents to plant seasonal vegetables in the raised outdoor garden beds, or to simply sit and enjoy the diverse flora and fauna. A range of activities and events are available to our residents, and teachers and students from the local Intermediate school regularly drop by to visit and perform musical concerts.
We encourage residents to bring items from home to personalise their room; from furniture to the occasional pet, we understand the comfort of having familiar things around us. Our caring, experienced staff are ready to help with any concerns our residents or their families may have. And our 24-hour visiting policy enables family and friends to spend as much time with loved ones as possible, and to remain an integral part of our residents’ lives.

Rest Home Care
Our rest homes cater to those who are mostly independent but may require some assistance with personal care and general day-to-day activities.
Hospital Care
Hospital level care is provided for those residents who have a significant disability and medical concerns.
Dementia Care
For residents with dementia we offer specifically targeted services, specialist staff and secure environments to ensure maximum wellbeing and safety at all times.
Respite Care
Short-term stays, or respite care services, are available to those who are unwell (eg, recovering from an illness or hospital stay) or who simply are in need of extra support.
Palliative Care
For those nearing the end of their lives, specialist medical services and clinical staff are available to meet ongoing comfort and care requirements.
Young Disabled Care
Young Physically Disabled (YPD) care is available in certain locations, for those under 65 who require assistance with self-care, mobility and/or communication.

As the new Facility Manager at Radius Arran Court, I am passionate about providing a safe, clean and caring environment where residents feel emotionally connected with a sense of belonging and value.
I began my career in healthcare later in life, graduating as a Registered Nurse in 1999. Since arriving in New Zealand, I have moved into several different roles, gaining skills, knowledge and experience in the private sector; Infection Prevention and Control; Surgical Nursing; Education, Intensive Care; Aged Care and now Management.
I am looking forward to working with the team at Radius Care. I have big boots to fill, but I am sure that by working alongside the team at Arran Court, we will continue to provide the best possible care for all our residents.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful family and walking my dogs. I love listening to music and dancing; I go to a Belly Dance group weekly and perform at the yearly Hafla.
