John Wade
facility manager
As Facility Manager, I am passionate about providing a place of rest, enjoyment, and purpose for the residents at Potter Home. A proud ‘Irish’Kiwi’, I live in Ruakaka with my wife, and we have three (mostly) wonderful children.
I began my career in healthcare at 18 years old as a psychiatric nurse. Since then, I have moved into the management side, with experience in many different roles with private, community and government organisations
Here at Potter Home, myself and the team have a clear purpose. We work hard together to provide the best possible care for every one of our residents. I enjoy personally connecting with the residents and making sure they are happy with the standard of work and care we maintain
Outside work, I enjoy the occasional game of bowls, and regularly walk and swim at Ruakaka beach.
