Overlooking Mt Wellington and beautiful Panmure Basin, centrally-located Radius Waipuna integrates rest home, hospital, palliative and respite care.
Radius Waipuna is a restful haven, conveniently located just minutes from the motorway and a number of popular shopping centres, including Sylvia Park, one of the largest retail centres in the country. Our newly refurbished wings provide state-of-the-art facilities with plenty of natural lighting, along with spacious living areas for friends and family to gather. The landscaped grounds feature pathways through the gardens and outdoor seating areas, and we have a central courtyard playground area to entertain children visiting the facility.
Our home is your home: our caring, qualified staff provide a social and stimulating home-like environment. A new activities roster is created each week by our dedicated activities coordinator, encouraging residents to keep busy, and to continue exploring their individual passions and interests such as flower arranging, arts and crafts, and even hosting a morning market and art fair.
We have regular visits from local early learning centres, and the facility is often abuzz with visiting children, families and friends. At Radius Waipuna we take pride in being part of the wonderful, caring Mt Wellington community, and our residents regularly hold fund-raising events and donate the proceeds to worthy causes.
Care at Waipuna
There are many different types of care designed to meet individual needs. At Radius Care we cover the full range of accommodation and care options, from respite, to rest home and hospital level care to dementia, and palliative care. These broad offerings allow for ‘ageing in place’, so if any of our residents’ needs change they are able to stay with us.

Incredibly caring staff and very clean facilities. The level of care is 10/10 and staff are attentive and have lots of smiles in what can be very difficult times for the families of the patients. The caregivers always have plenty of smiles and keep the patients spotlessly clean. The facility is modern, very nice decor and never has any smells apart from fresh. Their palliative care is excellent and we are so pleased we chose Radius for Dads last stage of life. I would recommend this facility highly AAAA++++++
