Each unit is built for easy movement throughout, no steps, no tight corners, nothing to navigate around. Light-filled with a lovely outlook over established gardens and finished with care, featuring stone splashbacks, oak joinery and warm timber tones throughout.

With only 14 units, you’ll get to know the people around you, and Radius Home Support can be there for a little extra help along the way if needed, available at an additional cost.

Interiors designed with real people in mind

Working with Elizabeth and the team at Radius Care is Leisa Ryan of Room 2, a Wellington-based interior designer who brought the look and feel of these units to life. Her approach is shaped in part by her own experience supporting relatives through a similar move later in life, which taught her what it takes to make a home feel truly welcoming, familiar, and easy to live in from the very first day, while still leaving enough space for someone to make it properly their own.

Elizabeth Thomas

I live in Crofton Downs, just down the road from Radius Karori. I've stood exactly where the families reading this are standing now, because I helped my own father, and later my in-laws, into independent living, so I know first-hand how important it is to find a place that feels like home, and the peace of mind… that brings, not just for residents but for the families who love them.

My background is in social science and global marketing. Across both, what I kept coming back to was the same thing: sitting down with people and working through what actually matters to them, together, rather than assuming I already know, and that's what I bring into every conversation here at Radius Karori.
