Radius Lexham Park is located in the delightful Bay of Plenty country town of Katikati. Lexham Park is just a stone’s throw away from the local harbour, beaches, gardens and rural bush walks, and only a 30-minute drive from Tauranga and Mt Maunganui. We provide home living and ongoing hospital care for older adults as well as some younger disabled people who may require specialist healthcare.
Our facility is single-storeyed and set in beautifully-landscaped country surroundings. Stunning New Zealand art lines our corridors, and each wing has spacious living areas for residents to enjoy with family and friends. Individual rooms can be decorated to personal choice; we encourage residents to bring their favourite possessions to personalise their room so they are surrounded by familiar things as much as possible. Our residents can access Apple TV, and music is readily available via Wi-Fi and iPods. We also provide iPads for short-term use so our residents can Skype family or friends, browse the Internet, or enjoy online games.
Our residents have the freedom to come and go as they please, and friends and family are welcome anytime. Pets are also free to visit, and our home’s cat loves the attention from residents. The guys in our men’s club like to keep fit and active, and have built outdoor garden beds, which are now home to hotly-contested veggie-growing competitions. Here at Radius Lexham Park we encourage residents to participate in local community events, so regular outings and visits from local schools and entertainers play an important part in our social calendar. We also offer a variety of activities, crafts and recreational programmes—everything from barbeques and participating in the annual A&P Show, to mini-putt, petanque, croquet and games afternoons, which bring residents together to socialise and enjoy some good-natured competition.

I love working at Radius Lexham Park, prior to this I worked at Radius Matua. My goal here at Lexham Park is to provide exceptional care for our residents and to make this their home. This is a wonderful community and I feel very privileged to be here.
When I… am not at work I live with my husband and my dog Felix, and spend a lot of my time at the beach. I have three beautiful adult children who all live overseas but I am very lucky, I see them all often.
