Opened September 2017 in Flagstaff, Hamilton, Radius Glaisdale combines clinical excellence with unparalleled support services and state-of-the-art amenities. The facility has been purpose-built to provide expert nursing, dementia, palliative and respite care on a permanent or short-stay basis. Around-the-clock medical support is delivered with warmth, efficiency and respect by our qualified and experienced registered nurses and staff. And should they wish, our residents are free to retain their own GP.
Onsite we have a fully-appointed kitchen operated by a first-class chef and a professional food service team, ensuring that all residents enjoy fresh, great-tasting and nutritious meals. Our modern, private rooms are beautifully decorated and include spacious ensuites. We offer a comprehensive activities programme and a varied social calendar. Should residents wish to step out and socialise, there’s a wealth of communal space to choose from, including several lounge areas, a large living room with big-screen TV, a library and an activity room. Plus, our facility van is available for transportation at any time.
Our focus at Radius Glaisdale is encouraging independence, preserving dignity, and celebrating the individuality of our residents. Our residents, their families and friends are encouraged to enjoy our immaculately-manicured gardens and outdoor spaces, and residents also have the option of tending their own gardens. There are many different types of care designed to meet individual needs. At Radius Care we cover the full range of accommodation and care options, from respite, to rest home and hospital level care to dementia, and palliative care. These broad offerings allow for ‘ageing in place’, so if any of our residents’ needs change they are able to stay with us.
