Radius Hawthorne is located on a quiet, tree-lined cul-de-sac bordering the Christchurch suburbs of Fendalton and Ilam. Our refurbished hospital and dementia care facility provides ‘round-the-clock care for those who can no longer manage entirely on their own.
Residents requiring hospital-level care are accommodated across two wings, with a number of the rooms having an ensuite and kitchenette. Sunlight streams through the large windows and doors, allowing plenty of natural light and access to our beautifully landscaped, award-winning gardens. We also have two secure dementia wings, each with a protected garden area, furniture and shades. For peace of mind, CCTV has been installed in this area.

We encourage our residents to remain active, helping them pursue their hobbies and passions, while also providing some of life’s little luxuries. There are many different types of care designed to meet individual needs. At Radius Care we cover a range of accommodation and care options, from respite, to rest home, dementia and palliative care. These broad offerings allow for ‘ageing in place’, so if any of our residents’ needs change they are often able to stay with us.
